Rob was a faculty member from 1974 to 1981. He married Anna Cooper from the Class of '74. They have three children, Joseph 12, Emma 10, and Eleanor 8. When Rob left Desert Sun, he picked up a Master's in computer science from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo (at the same time as Michael Melas, Tom Cooper, Mitch Regal and Jim Seeley), and went to work for IBM in San Jose. He still works for IBM as an Information Technology Architect, mostly doing database work for manufacturing facilities. He misses the Dead a lot, and still fantasizes about returning to teaching when he retires (and can finally afford it). Rob's wife Anna worked for a while as a Systems Engineer for IBM Marketing in San Francisco, and recently completed her Master's in mathematics at San Jose State University, where she has since been teaching.
