Judith attended the Desert Sun School from 1945 to 1952. She recently sent in this update: I believe that my first summer at Desert Sun was about 1945. It was while the School year time was still in Mecca. I started out as a junior counselor working in the kitchen located in the old lodge and became a counselor. My last year was 1952. Fellow counselors and campers I remember during my tenure were Judy and Dennis Little, Frank and Roger Darling, John and Ann Polykowski, Linda Schoff and Carolyn Rau. Carolyn and I both attended Girls' Collegiate School in Claremont, California. Her parents owned a cabin in Idyllwild and later a home in Claremont. She had a brother, Alan, who attended Stanford. She also had an older sister. Does anyone remember this family? I would really like to find Carolyn.
