John attended the Desert Sun School from 1956 to 1957. He recently sent in this update: "I was born & raised in Pasadena, CA, and attended Pasadena schools until DSS (Junior & Senior years). I Attended Claremont Mens' College, served as a journalist in USNR, and spent 20+ years in food sales & marketing prior to starting my own business, THE IMAGE WORKS, a public relations, advertising and media consulting firm. I married Cecily (Ces) Wilde (Flintridge, CA) in 1962. We have two children: Lauren McMillen (age 40) and David (age 38). We now have four grandchildren. We moved from La Canada, CA to Cedarburg, WI in 1995 so Ces could continue her career with Northwestern Mutual Life at corporate headquarters. I wound down business affairs about three years later, and now write newsletters and tend to classic car club activities. I'm writing a book on the western food industry circa: 1900 to 2000.
