Robin has lived in the Bay Area since 1987. She has worked as a certified sign language interpreter since 1983. In 1992, she received an MA in Teaching English as a Second Language (MATESL) from San Francisco State University. She is the author of two ESL textbooks published by Pearson/Longman; "Northstar Listening/Speaking Basic" and "Speaking of Values". In her non-working hours, she is a competitive swimmer, swimming with the Manatee Aquatic Masters in Oakland, California. She also makes fused glass, gardens, does yoga, travels, and loves to cook!
