Drew attended the Desert Sun School from 1981 to 1982. Drew recently sent in this update: "It was all about the thrill as a kid. God only knows some of the things I was a part off in my short run as a Desert Sun Student. I remember losing our lead in a wilderness run down the mountain into Palm Desert. I don't remember how long it took us to find our party but after a few hours we somehow found them on the other side of the mountain. Who remembers that? My God talk about the horror. I can only imagine how the headmasters were feeling. Sorry ; ) We ran into some druggies on our way too and that was something I will never forget. They thought we escaped from Twin Peaks!
