Susan attended the Desert Sun School from 1980 to 1982. She recently sent in this update: I graduated From Pepperdine in'87 with a double major of Communication and Political Science. I then worked briefly at CNN in Washington before helping with the family company Jenny Craig. I worked as a trainer for a few years traveling to London, Australia and many parts of the U.S. I then settled in Santa Barbara where i opened my first store and meet my husband while out with Lisa Campbell, also an alumni!!! After a 5 year stay in Tampa, FL. I got my dream of moving to the mountains and ended up in Evergreen, CO. My husband (a chef) and i purchased El Rancho, a historic restaurant and B&B and began our family. We stayed there for 10 years and recently moved to San Diego to be close to family. After a recent visit to Idyllwild, I realize why i love the mountains... i have many happy memories from my DSS days and all of you!!! Thank you for all the wonderful experiences, they are always with me!!! Mark and I presently reside in Olivenhain, a small community in Encinitas with our 4, yes 4 children.
