Sylvia was a faculty member, art director and administrator at the Desert Sun School from 1956 to 1963. She is an artist, photographer and retired teacher. Sylvia recently moved back to Southern California after 31 years on Long Island, New York. She visited DSS last year, climbed Tahquitz Peak and loved every minute of it.
